In Saudi Arabia, emergency services are eliminating the consequences of a severe flood that hit the second largest city of the country, Jeddah, the day before.

According to local meteorologists, the rains that caused the flooding were the strongest in the entire history of observations. It rained continuously for eight days.

At least two people died as a result of the flood. Dozens of flights were delayed, schools were closed. Local residents were advised not to leave the house unless absolutely necessary.
