In Greece, a tourist was killed by lightning

On the island of Rhodes (Greece) yesterday, May 29, a British tourist was killed by lightning.

A 26-year-old young man went swimming in the sea on Agati Beach during a thunderstorm, ignoring the warnings of other vacationers. Lightning struck him in the water.

The victim was pulled to land by vacationers who called rescuers and medics. Ambulance doctors fought for the life of the tourist, but they could not save him.

Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
