A new international airport will be opened in Mexico

According to the Mexican authorities, the construction of the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport in Tulum will be completed in December this year.

The need for its construction in Tulum was ripe ten years ago, when the popularity of this resort among tourists increased. The city is located on the Riviera Maya on the Caribbean coast on the Yucatan Peninsula.

The construction of the airport in Tulum began in 2020. According to the project, it will have several terminals, a modern passport control system, two baggage claim areas, a cafe and comfortable waiting rooms. Flights will be launched from this air harbor not only to the cities of Mexico, but also to more than 100 airports around the world.
