In Mexico, tourists were killed at the resort of Playa del Carmen

In Mexico, two tourists from Canada were killed at the resort of Playa del Carmen, located on the Caribbean coast.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office of the state of Quintana Roo, an investigation has been launched into the incident in the municipality of Solidaridad: there, Canadian tourists were attacked with a cold weapon. As a result, a man and a woman died from stab wounds, another man was injured.

Recall that in January, Canadian citizens have already become victims of criminals in this Mexican region, but then the victims were not tourists — they were related to drug and arms trafficking.
